How long is the down time?

On average, 5-7 days until your skin is fresh as new. If you experience little to no peeling, its best to take the downtime anyways before returning to your routines.

Can I wear makeup after a chemical peel?

It is best to steer clear from any cosmetics (primer, foundation, power) during the down time. The skin needs to breath naturally during the healing process. Eye & Lip makeup is acceptable.

Does it hurt?

Your esthetician will keep a close eye on your comfort level during the service. Itching, redness, tingling sesnations may occur. Minimum layers: 1. Maximum layers: 3.

How often should I do a Chemical peel?

A light peel, you can receive once every 2-5 weeks. A heavy peel, you can receive once every 3-9 months.

Will my skin peel a lot?

Chemical peels rely on the amount of loose keratin or dead skin cells on the surface to promote peeling. Your skin may peel more if your skin does not experience manual exfoliation. If your home routine includes exfoliating often, you might peel little to none. If you experience no peeling, the treatment still has plenty to offer your skin!
